Paneer Fried Rice Recipe

 An easy and simple stir-fried rice recipe made with paneer cubes and a choice of veggies. Basically, the recipe is an extension of the popular veg fried rice with a topping of marinated paneer cubes. It is an ideal one-pot meal rice recipe for lunch box or even for dinner and can be served with Manchurian or any gravy-based curries or with ketchup.


INGREDIENTS:
Serves: 4

1 cup= 250ml


• Basmati  rice - 1 cup
• Paneer- 200gms
• Curd- 3 tbsp
• Ginger garlic paste- 1/2 tbsp
• Kashmiri chilli powder- 1tsp
• Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp
• Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
• Carrot- 2
• Beans- 10
• Garlic - 7
• Water- 4cups
• Oil- 1 tsp
• Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
• Soya sauce- 2 tsp
• Vinegar- 1 tsp

METHOD:

• First , soak basmati rice for 30 mins. In a mean while cut the paneer into cubes  and in a bowl, add curd,ginger garlic paste,chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, salt ,cubed paneer and mix well. Marinate this for 30 mins.

• Next, cut the carrots,garlic and beans into a small pieces. Keep it aside.

• In a vessel, add 4 cups water, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil and bring it to boil. After boiling the water,add rice to it and stir occasionally. When rice half boiled, drain the water.

• In a hot tawa, grease the oil and place the marinated paneer cubes. Fry it for both the sides.

• In a kadai, add oil, then add chopped garlic, carrot, beans fry for a minute.

•  Then add pepper powder, vinegar and Soya sauce mix it well with veggies. Then add boiled basmati rice mix gently . Now add roasted paneer. Mix well.

• Our paneer fried rice is ready.Serves with ketchup or any curries.
