Palak Paneer Recipe
A healthy green-colored paneer recipe prepared mainly from the thick paste of spinach puree. Basically, the easy palak paneer recipe hails from the popular north Indian cuisine or Punjabi cuisine and is typically served with tandoor roti & naan. There are many ways to prepare it.
Ingredients:
• 1 bunch palak / spinach
• 1 handful Cashew
• 3 cloves
• 1 inch cinnamon
• 2 cardamom
• 1 green chilli(want more spicy you can add more)
• 4 tbsp coconut oil
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1 tbsp jaggery powder (optional)
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 1tsp ginger garlic paste
• 1 tsp salt
• 4 tomato, chopped
• 200 grams paneer, cubes
• 1 tsp garam masala
• 1 tsp kasuri methi, crushed
METHOD:
• Firstly, wash the palak and keep it aside.
• Then heat a kadai add oil, green chilli, cashew and then add washed palak , fry until palak shrinks. Switch off the flame.
• Once it cools down make a smooth paste.
• Meanwhile chop tomatoes , onion, paneer. Keep it aside.
• In a same pan heat oil then add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and jeera , ginger garlic paste, then add onion, kasuri methi, garam masala powder fry a little then add tomatoes and little water boil for 2 minutes then add salt and boil it for 3-4 minutes.
• When tomatoes turn mushy add grounded palak paste , paneer and sugar boil for 5 minutes.
• Finally, enjoy Palak Paneer Recipe with roti or chapati.
